An indigo blue unisex poncho made from 100% cotton from Côte d’Ivoire using the
traditional technique of hand-woven Kente bands. Each piece is one of a kind with
the different tie-dye patterns and an option of beige or black raffia as
embellishment. Curved neckline and two cords to tie it in different ways, front or
back with hand-printed ceramic beads as a finishing touch.
Un poncho unisexe de couleur bleu indigo fabriqué à partir de coton à 100 % en provenance de Côte d'Ivoire en utilisant la technique traditionnelle des bandes de Kente tissées à la main. Chaque pièce est unique avec différents motifs de tie-dye et une option de raphia beige ou noir comme ornement. Encolure incurvée et deux cordons pour le nouer de différentes manières, à l'avant ou à l'arrière, avec des perles en céramique imprimées à la main en guise de touche finale.

We primarily source all of our fabrics locally, which means there is a more personal level of relationship within the supply chain, as well as maintaining jobs and prosperity in Côte d’Ivoire region. By using local cotton, we significantly reduce our CO2 emissions. Laurenceairline pieces are graphic and contemporary by combining different fabrics and cuts in the same piece. This piece is mixed with locally sourced cotton and GOTS certified organic cotton from CABES, a social enterprise based in Burkina Faso, supported by the Ethical Fashion Initiative.
