Harmony, love, peace. This season LaurenceAirline leads us to the bright land of celebrating life values. The SS19 collection named Nelson pays tribute to Nelson Mandela. Created the same year as the centenary of his birth, LaurenceAirline took inspiration for its collection from this great South African figure.
The spirit of Mandela is, before everything else, a message of love and life, a desire for harmony, and that of a helping hand. This message symbolized by an embroidery crosses the collection and echoes with this great thinker portrait printed on T-shirts as an emblem.

Celebrating this birthday is the opportunity to stop for a while, to look at our legacy and create again. To immerse in the past to exalt the presence. This season, LaurenceAirline brings a new perspective to the styles which have built its brand’s story.
Through an urban and contemporary aesthetics, LaurenceAirline causes the encounter as we encounter fate. Encounter between tailoring inspired styles, suits with all over patterns and sportswear styles like this oversize shirt and trousers in water repellent technical nylon. Going from traditional African fabrics to technical, this collection plays with legacy and innovation as endless novelty sources. The peacock feather, from the first collections, delicately scatters across the styles. It’s juxtaposition with Mandela’s representations effaces the symbol of bad luck and turns it into the feather of life. The geometrical yokes and details, features of the brand, cross over the shirts without disturbing their balance. Diving into our legacy is also about making the present values stronger. The collection shows quality fabrics that carry an ethical and sustainable message: Cabes fabric made in Mali and Burkina Faso according to local traditions, or SeaquelTM fabric, recycled from ocean plastic waste. With the theme of life, the Nelson collection garment never dies. The handmade tie & dye gives a second life to jackets, shirts, sweatshirts and T-shirts.
This season, LaurenceAirline reinvents its legacy and shows the wardrobe of a contemporary man who is united with the world he travels and wants to preserve it. Through this collection, LaurenceAirline creates new shades in a sky that is still blue, and that will be completed with remarkable items from the new Africa capsule.
